Delete your JudgeBash account
You can request deletion of a JudgeBash host account at any time. You do not need the mobile app to start a request.
How to request deletion
- Email privacy@judgebash.com from the email address associated with your JudgeBash account.
- Use the subject line “JudgeBash account deletion request.”
- We will verify that the request belongs to the account before processing it.
If you no longer have access to the account email, contact privacy@judgebash.com and explain that in your message so we can tell you what verification is needed.
What is deleted
On a verified request we delete the host account and the data tied to it:
- Account & sign-in. Your host account and the email address used for magic-link sign-in.
- Hosting history. Your account-linked room-session history and host stats — parties run, games played, streaks. Shared party records and safety reports are handled separately under the retention rules below.
- Entitlements. The record of what you purchased, as it is attached to your account.
- Referrals. Referral codes you created and referral records containing your email address.
- Feedback. Anything you sent us through the in-product feedback form.
Player submissions from a round — text, drawings, photos, audio — are not kept after the round beyond what moderation and abuse prevention need, so in the ordinary case there is nothing of yours left there to delete.
What is retained, and for how long
- Purchase and tax records. Retained for as long as tax, accounting and consumer-protection law requires us to be able to evidence a transaction. Payment-card details are held by Stripe and were never stored by JudgeBash, so a deletion request to us does not reach them — Stripe keeps them under its own retention rules.
- Moderation, safety and abuse-prevention records. Retained while an investigation, safety obligation, or ban is open, and afterwards only for as long as needed to stop the same abuse recurring.
- Records under an open dispute or legal hold. Retained until the dispute, claim or legal obligation is resolved.
- Aggregate analytics. Counts of which games were played and how many players joined are kept indefinitely, but they are stripped of any link to your account and cannot be used to identify you. Submission content is never part of this.
Where a period above is expressed as a criterion rather than a fixed number of days, that is because the period depends on the obligation — we delete the record once the criterion no longer applies.
Guest players
Guests can play private JudgeBash rooms without creating a host account. If you have a privacy question about content from a party or a shared clip, email privacy@judgebash.com with enough detail for us to locate the item without sending sensitive party content by email.
